Chocolate Nut Butter Balls

This recipe originated with Sally-Ann Creed and were made by a friend of mine. I had them on a day when I hadn’t eaten much. They  brightened my eyes and just thinking about them makes my mouth water!

Guilt free chocolate Almond (or macadamia) Butter Balls

Ingredients

  1. 4 Tablespoons  Almond Butter OR  Macadamia Nut Butter
  2. 2 Tablespoons Organic Honey (that’s very little over 12-15 balls) you could use xylitol though!
  3.  2 Tablespoons  Cacao powder, and a little extra for the coating
  4. Zest of a good organic orange
  5. Squeeze about a tablespoon of orange juice out of the orange after zesting

Instructions

  1. Mix all the above into a bowl and mix well using a fork.
  2. Now roll them into little balls (should make around 12-15 depending on size)
  3. Gently roll into the extra cacao powder and enjoy these with impunity
  4. Keep in the fridge

Notes

  1. Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Low Carb, Guilt-free!

For me, the orange was the secret ingredient. It absolutely lifted them out of regular chocolate to a unique treat!

Proverbs 16:24

Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you!
